The Transfer: Infused Dye
WE'VE GOT CHEMISTRY
The infused aluminum printing process sometimes sounds like science fiction - and the incredible results this method produces are nothing short of magical. But we promise, it's all real, and it's easily available through our professional printing services. The method starts with printing your photo using high-quality archival inks.
Then, heat and pressure are applied to the ink and aluminum. This evaporates the ink to form pigmented gas, which is then pressed into the aluminum panel. Once cooled, the aluminum panel traps the gas and creates a brilliant image infused with the aluminum for superior durability, and scratch, and chemical resistance.
